Bixiga and its People – Sao Paulo

The following portraits were done in Bixiga, traditional neighbourhood of Italian influence. All of the shots were done with the permission of the person photographed. Loved how friendly the people were, and even with my scarce portuguese, they didn’t mind establishing a conversion for a few minutes. All shots were taken with a D800 plus Nikon 35mm 1.4 Lens, lovely combo to shoot, but heavy after a while. More picts in my flickr profile.

Comments and critics highly welcome!

    • Thanks katariina, that’s one of the reasons i love shooting people, the diversity. And everyone has a different story to tell, a different reaction. Each person is comely different.
